It has been a rough few years for Megumi, but she was able to pass all of her classes thanks to Soma. Worried she may not get another chance, Megumi takes a risk and asks him to teach her one more recipe. Soma accepts, but is then told he must visit her home in order to show him. Her reasoning being that she will be more comfortable practicing the new recipe in the place she will spend most of her life in. After a few nearly failed attempts, Soma is able to create the perfect dish. As a thank you, Megumi takes Some to her room where he learns more about her culture as well as her body.
